Emerald

Emerald wears a high round illusion neckline and long sleeves, its bodice densely encrusted with three-dimensional pearls, sequins and tiny florals that cover the shoulders and body to the waist. From there the floral beadwork spills into a full tulle A-line that thins toward the hem — an opulent, regal modest gown, all light and volume.

The 2023 collection is a devotion to embroidery. Each gown is embroidered entirely by hand after sewing: Swarovski stones, beads and pearls worked into commissioned lace, over the deep, traditional fall of heavier European cloth. Covered at the neck, sleeved to the wrist, opaque throughout, and richer for it.
